Say cheese! During the IT-SA in Nuremberg, we handed out more than 300 balls of cheese to potential German partners and customers. It turned out to be an ideal conversation starter, because: who doesn't like Dutch cheese? The link with Guardian360 was evident: we are Dutch, have a 360-degree view of an IT environment and cheese also must be produced securely. In the coming weeks, we will follow up on the newly acquired contacts; What a successful week this was!

In our previous partner newsletter, we announced new tariffs from 1 January 2024. The new global price list has since been published on our partner portal. Be quick if you still want to place orders at the 2023 conditions. When compared to other vendors in our industry, this is a reasonable price increase. We are only applying a 5% increase, while others are implementing increases up to 15%.


In this newsletter, as usual, you will find another Lighthouse update, and you can also read about the status of the mobile app. In December, we will organise an online talk show for the financial sector, see the article in this newsletter for more information. Finally, in this newsletter we also introduce a behind-the-scenes peek at Guardian360, highly recommended!

Lighthouse update - A New Feature within a New Feature

In our previous partner newsletter, we spoke about the new feature that would be introduced into our current Lighthouse front-end. Well folks, for those with an eagle eye for details, you may have noticed that it is already here!

Scroll down to the bottom of your dashboard page, and you will see a link that allows you to opt into the new dashboard look and feel. Don’t like it? Click the link again and it will restore the good old dashboard you know and love.

You may not know it, but this new feature is imported all the way from our new front-end we are building and the way we are presenting it is a feature on its own.
We were stuck between the ability to add new features or to present something entirely new and eventually decided why not do both?

While we are developing our new front-end, many new features and functionality will be made available in the current platform until only the new front-end is left.

This will make our transition seamless without causing disruption in our customers workflow. It will also allow our users to help us build and improve as we progress on this endeavour to provide a product that truly belongs to us all!

The new dashboard in itself is a big deal. Besides a refreshed and easier to understand look and feel, it is also packed with some much-anticipated functionality.
  • Issues trends will show a timeline of issues over time – this allows technicians to match issues to real events and give more business-focused stakeholders a view of progress within the system
  • All our previous graphs will now also be filterable by time – which means one can create accurate reporting over a designated period
  • Graphs will be exportable which is especially useful when creating reports
  • The layout is structured with a hierarchy that is easier to navigate and understand

 
Mobile App update

This past month saw the completion of the preparation phase of the project and coding has commenced. Finally!

For those who would like a sneak peek into proposed functionality, feel free to view it via the button below.

The big thing that was requested in our partner interviews was very much around notifications as it would allow partners to be more aware of events as they occur and could help to deal with emergencies sooner rather than later.

The app would also add some convenience by allowing technicians to view issues on their phone while they are sorting it out at the physical locations within their network or even externally when there is no access to a laptop.

We will be making the application open source soon which means:
  • This app can be modified by stakeholders (partners or anyone with access to our API) for their own use cases
  • Stakeholders can add to its functionality for the benefit of our community
  • Stakeholders will be able to audit the code

We are very excited about this project, and we hope this will be a game changer in our partner’s workflows. We value your feedback so please let us know what you think!

The Global Pricelist effective from 1 January 2024, has been published on the Partner Portal.

If there are still orders you would like to place or renew at the 2023 rates, please contact us right away.

Orders and renewals processed before 31 December 2023 will have 2023 pricing for the whole purchase order duration.
