As you may be aware, in the past 6 months we have been migrating our platform to a cloud-based infrastructure to make it more scalable and bring a lot more observability and security features to our end customers.
One of the tasks we had to perform was to protect our system against DDoS attacks and a small part of this solution was to migrate some of our DNS records to a more secure solution.
During the migration, the anti-DDoS security settings were accidently enabled for all our services and as a result there was an outage in our services.
This resulted in, amongst other things, some probes have been unreachable and that scans could not run on their schedules.
We understand the impact this can have on our partners and their clients, and we wanted to transparently communicate this with you to assure you that this has our utmost priority.
We have reversed the DNS propagation and have initiated scans to run in the next available schedule, which unfortunately entails that scan results for today might not be updated. Our engineers are on standby to assist you in any way, so please feel free to reach out by emailing us at support@guardian360.nl.
We will be doing an audit as a part of our incidence response process and will mitigate this happening in the future.
Thank you for being a loyal Guardian360 partner and working with us to make the world a safer and more just place.
Kind regards, The Guardian360 Team
