update In the past few weeks, we implemented a few database optimizations to allow to GUI of our Lighthouse platform to improve performance as we deal with the ever-increasing demand of our platform. Load times of several pages have improved dramatically by this optimization. In the upcoming months we will focus more on the transformation of our platform to a microservice-based infrastructure. This will eventually improve performance of the whole Lighthouse platform significantly. Via our coordinated vulnerability disclosure program, we received a report regarding hardening of our appliances. Luckily the reported issue was only classified as minor, but despite this we took the opportunity to make some improvements. Please refer to the update about the partner portal in this newsletter to learn more about this.
Front end update by Martin In 2022 much research and preparation was done concerning our new Lighthouse platform and now finally we are implementing it.
Here are some reasons why we are doing this and why now:
The new front-end moves the platform to more client-side rendering which means fewer calls and faster load times
We are preparing for a continuous delivery approach to releases so that we can deliver smaller product enhancements more often
Modernising the UI is essential in the lifecycle of any user-interface, and this is now due for our platform
We are able to deal with technical debt built up over the years
By refactoring we can make small but much requested UI improvements
We can improve the security and code-quality of our own platform

Later this month you will receive a newsletter introducing our new partner program. among other things, we will introduce sales and technical trainings for which staff working for our partners can become certified. It is already possible to sign up for these trainings, please do so as soon as possible to obtain the adequate Guardian360
partner status!
Our partner agreement requires several conditions to be contracted to customers. We have published a template document under the 'Legal' menu that you can use as a reference for your own legal documentation. In the upcoming period, we will also add a standard indemnity to the documentation. More on this later.
A couple of partners asked us about the hardening of our appliances and the ports we scan with our scanners. We have added (updated) documents to answer these questions under the ‘Marketing’ menu.
Finally, we extended our battlecards with a comparison between Guardian360 Lighthouse and OpenVAS as well as OpenKAT. Please let us know if you need a comparison with other vendors and products.
Some Guardian360 team members will be present at Hacker Hotel from 10 – 12 February. Guardian360 is one of the main sponsors of this event from the beginning, we’re excited the organisation managed to organise yet another promising event! Jan Martijn will be present at Cloudfest in Rust, Germany from 20-24 March. Please drop him a message if you’d like to catch up. Together with a few other Dutch information security firms we’ll organize a Kingsday networking event in Munich, Germany on 26 April. This is part of the partners in business Germany program we enrolled for in 2022.

Our partner Velzart is delivering our service to Tallpack amongst other clients. In recent weeks, we have continued our discussions with EY. We have now explored the best jurisdiction, legal entity and tax regime in 15 different countries. We are pleased to state that starting in the Netherlands seems to be a very feasible option. In the time to come, we will finalise this research and (finally) enter the next phase!
The Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) and Belastingdienst are following our initiative with great interest. Before the end of this month, we will participate in a workshop of the KVK to share our experiences with them.
