The last quarter of 2022 has started. The year is going by quickly!
In recent months, we have noticed that the number of parties interested in the Guardian360 partnership is growing at a rapid pace. The reason for this is that end customers have a growing awareness of the importance of information security. In addition, we have noticed that our modus operandi and portfolio fits well with both partners and customers who want to attain the next level maturity in information security, without the need for operating a 24/7 Security Operations Centre. This position suits us well since it enables our partners to become increasingly successful in creating and selling product packages that contain our services.
While we are on the subject of partners: we are currently looking into
updating our partner program. Due to the wide variety of partners, we have observed that partner statuses, requirements and benefits should be updated. We will update you on this in a future newsletter.
This month is also the first month that our team is physically working together in the Netherlands. Both Martin and Robert have come over, I am very happy to have the team together for a week!

Global pricelist as of
January 1, 2023
Guardian360 has also been confronted with rising energy costs and other procurement costs. We have however decided not to index tariffs of contracts with a due date past January 1, 2023.
Pricing of Guardian360 services for new clients and renewals as of January 1 2023 will increase with 16%. If there are still orders you would like to place or renew at the 2022 rates, please contact your distributor quickly.

update
In the past few weeks we proceeded with the Scanner Exclusion and Apmon functionality. We came to the conclusion that additional development and testing was necessary to be able to deploy a stable version of these functionalities. We however expect to be able to deploy the Scanner Exclusion feature early next month. We fixed a few minor bugs and one penetration test finding as well.
Penetration test
result In the previous partner newsletter, we informed you that NFIR conducted a pen test on our Lighthouse application and API. From the timeboxed pen test we got 3 medium and 2 informational findings.
One of the medium findings has already been resolved and the remaining findings have been placed on our backlog to be resolved at a later date.
Although we would prefer not to have any findings, we are happy with the result. We also know that a penetration tester keeps searching until he/she finds something ;-)
NIS2 update
Formerly we communicated information regarding the new European legislation as it relates to Information Security. The NIS2 directive is expected to be fully established and enforced in the second half of 2024 (summertime). That date still seems far away, yet it is good to start preparing for it
now.
This new law is going to affect many more organisations than the current NIS. The sooner one starts to prepare, the easier it will be to comply on time. When advising clients it is important to make sure that they understand sooner, rather than later, exactly what is going to change and that you as a partner are the right person to support them.

This month Guardian360 proudly launched G360DAO. G360DAO is a community for hackers, developers and information security experts who want to collaborate on new information security solutions that make digital infrastructure more secure. By bringing together people from all around the world, G360DAO's solutions will help improve information security worldwide. Not only can members of G360DAO actively discuss these solutions, they can contribute by developing and taking ownership of them. Everything that is developed will be open-sourced. What makes G360DAO even more unique is that people who develop are paid for their work.
G360DAO will host a virtual community event during the Dutch Blockchain Week in November.
