Guardian360
Dear ,

Even during the heat wave, the Guardian360 team continues to work towards a more secure digital infrastructure.

In this newsletter you can read about the recently added NBA:2019 guidelines to the compliance module, UX developer Martin shares his first findings with you and you can read the most recent blog from our Partner Director Jeff.

We also have another exciting announcement: improved integration with SecureMe2 technology, making it easier to install our probe on the SecureMe2 appliance. This appliance can then not only be used for capturing traffic in the network which provides immediate insight into the impact of a digital attack, but for vulnerability scanning as well.

Finally, we announce the Saas4Channel "Borrelcast", Guardian360 will sponsor the September edition.

Enjoy the summertime!

On behalf of the Guardian360 team,

Jan Martijn Broekhof
Managing Director

NBA:2019 ADDED TO COMPLIANCE MODULE

In 2019, the Netherlands Institute of Chartered Accountants (NBA) delivered a second version of a practical model to determine the maturity of organizations in terms of Information Security. This model has now also been adopted by Dutch secondary and higher vocational education.

The controls from this model have been adopted in Guardian360 Lighthouse, which also provides insights into deviations from these controls. As a result, the service catalogue and price chart have been updated. The versions that are effective from July 1st 2022 can be found on the partner portal.

Intermediate update UX/UI interviews

From 15 June 2022 we kicked off UX interviews with various partners and distributors to get an idea of how people working directly with clients are experiencing Lighthouse.

It was exciting for me to see how invested our partners are in not only using Lighthouse as an offering to their customers, but also seeing us grow in our offering and providing a great user experience.

We touched on topics including enhancements on objects for scanning, API integrations, Reporting, Dashboard Enhancements, Modularity, Roles and Permissions, White Labelling and more.

On the 4th of July, I presented an overview of these issues in our Q3 roadmap meeting. In that meeting we also shared a new production process that involves shaping feature requests into well-defined product demands. More about this process can be viewed via the button below.

Moving forward, we would like to improve collaboration between Guardian360 and our Platinum Partners by sharing our Business Requirement Specifications BEFORE the demands are ready for estimation. This will afford our valuable Platinum Partners the opportunity to help shape features and enhancements on a deeper level BEFORE it goes to production. The first BRS (Business Requirement Specification) should be ready to be sent out to our platinum partners early August.

For the rest of our partners and distributors we also would like to extend an invitation to help shape our product by our continued UX interviews. For those who would like to book a time feel free to book a slot by clicking on the button below.

Thank you to everyone who has invested, and to those who will invest, time into improving Lighthouse. Together with you, we will ensure that Guardian360 Lighthouse grows from strength to strength. Through our shared knowledge and experience we will create a powerful and practical safe-haven for businesses in an increasingly challenging digital space.

Yours sincerely,

Martin Hugo

Why not everyone is choosing cybersecurity yet

That there is an explosive increase in the number of reports of data breaches caused by cyber-attacks is well known. Last year the Dutch Personal Data Authority (AP) received 25,000 data breach notifications. Nine percent of these arose as a result of cyber-attacks. Yet many companies and institutions wait to purchase cyber-secure solutions. Why?

We only have ourselves to blame!

Better integration between SecureMe2 and Guardian360 in 2022

Recently we have seen an increase between customers who use both Cyberalarm (Pro) of SecureMe2 and the vulnerability scanners of Guardian360. As a result we have increased collaboration to better facilitate our user experience.

The insights in vulnerabilities delivered by Guardian360 Lighthouse could already be shown in the dashboard of SecureMe2. In the near future the (automatic) deployment of Guardian360 Lighthouse probes on the physical appliances of Cyberalarm will be possible. This allows an organization to deploy both products in the network with one physical sensor and thus significantly increase the resilience without much effort.

Keep an eye on the Guardian360 and SecureMe2 websites and newsletters to be notified immediately when this capability is available. Want to learn more about Cyberalarm from SecureMe2? Visit their website!

In the past weeks we added new functionality to Guardian360 Lighthouse and we fixed some issues as well:

  • Fix: Multiple login attepts needed
  • Fix: Issues wrongly closed
  • Fix: Replace comma, double quote, quote and \n\r in issue name when issues download is requested

Both the drinks and the podcast are especially for and by ICT entrepreneurs and will mainly focus on entrepreneurial topics. On behalf of Guardian360 Jan Martijn Broekhof will be interviewed, who the second guest will be is still a surprise. Do you want to be present at the networking reception and recording?
