Guardian360
Dear ,

November 2021 is a month of extremes for the Guardian360 team.

On the one hand, we mourn the loss of our lead frontend developer Alexander, who passed away on November 10 due to leukemia. You'll find an in memoriam in this newsletter.

On the other hand, we are seeing substantial revenue growth and we are on-boarding more and more customers on the Guardian360 Lighthouse platform. Despite the corona measures, there have been some great events this month.

Together with a number of other Dutch information security companies we discussed how to exchange information security information with the Dutch National Cyber Security Center.

On behalf of the Guardian360 team,

Jan Martijn Broekhof
Managing Director

In memoriam Alexander Meesters

On Wednesday, November 10, our lead front-end developer Alexander passed away due to leukemia.

With the passing of Alexander, the Guardian360 team loses a special colleague and passionate front-end developer. Alexander was a hardcore programmer: a professional who always challenged himself to learn new things. He loved to share the knowledge he gained with others. Not only at work, but also outside of the office, for example through his involvement in the Frontend Developer Love conference.

As a team, we were only allowed to work with Alexander for far too short a time. We found the (sometimes philosophical) conversations about software development, working together in teams and life itself to be beautiful and inspiring.

Alexander has made an indelible impression on the Guardian360 team, his absence will be felt for a long time.

We wish Mirjam, Merel, Lotte, Lisette and everyone who loved Alexander lots of strength in the coming period.

Events in november

Beerepoot Automatisering organized a customer event on the subject of information security where our partner director Jeff Scipio presented the Guardian360 services.

At Huis73 in Den Bosch an event of dhs took place. The relations present responded enthusiastically to the Guardian360 services, which is great to see!

The employees of Exclusive Networks were surprised this month by Guardian360 with a delicious sushi lunch. Next week we will have fresh sushi prepared at SLTN. Would you also like to be served such a delicious lunch? Please contact us!

Launch Cybernetwork Utrecht

Municipality of Utrecht and its partners, including Guardian360, launched Cybernetwork Utrecht on November 19. This network is temporarily offering all Utrecht entrepreneurs a free scan to find out whether their company is sufficiently armed against cybercriminals.

With the help of Cybernetwerk Utrecht we want to increase the cyber resilience of entrepreneurs in Utrecht. In addition to the scan on www.cybernetwerkutrecht.nl we want to achieve this by organizing information, training and webinars and by sharing action perspectives and prevention tips. We hope that this platform will grow to become a place where Utrecht entrepreneurs can find tips, information and each other on digitally safe entrepreneurship.

Sharing of information with the Dutch NCSC

The Dutch National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and the Dutch National Coordinator for Counterterrorism and Security (NCTV) have designated advocacy organization Cyberveilig Nederland as a linking organization (OKTT) within the nationwide system. This means that member organizations of Cyberveilig Nederland can exchange information with the NCSC, something that was previously only possible for organizations within the critical infrastructure.

Together with representatives of KPN, Northwave, Thales, Fox-IT, Deloitte and Atos, Guardian360 has thought about what information can be shared and how this should take place. It's hearthwarming to see that these organizations want to act  beyond their competitive position and really want Dutch organizations to be better secured!

Within Guardian360 we are wondering what data we can share with the NCSC (possibly through Cyberveilig Nederland), so we have created a short survey. We are curious to hear your reactions!

Wanted: Front-end developer with excellent design skills

The sooner we find an additional front-end developer with excellent design skills, the sooner we can serve our partners with new dashboards, workflows and such. So please let us know when you know someone that fits the job description!

If we hire the front-end developer that was recommended by you, we will reward you with a dinner in a Michelin star restaurant.
